Champions Again Vintage Collegiate Apparel

20050047 fullRemember the good old days when your team didn’t suck? Us guys can always remember, in detail, that miracle season our boys had years ago. We remember it like it was yesterday.

Champions Again is an awesome place to get some gear for your reminiscent man. They sell classic t-shirts and sweatshirts with vintage logos of championship games long gone. Remember the 1937 Bacardi bowl? How about the 1993 national champions? Well if his team was in either one, he can proudly own the shirt.

What I really like about the site is that each page has a little history about the item or game featured. These guys did their homework!

76020 fullAdditionally, they’ve got throwback mini football helmets and dynasty banners. I imagine that these kinds of products are tough to put together, what with having to get permission from the schools and all. But I’ve got to tell you, they’ve got an impressive line up of colleges and universities. If he went to a big place, chances are there is something here for him.

And even if he didn’t, there might be a school for him. My little alma mater Elon is even included.

What comes to mind when I say WineRack? Do you think of your favorite Merlot or Chardonnay? Perhaps a vintage bottle you enjoyed with family and friends? Do you fantasize about a picnic by the sea or a sunset balloon ride? Whatever comes to mind I am sure it is not what I am about to share with you.

winerack

Behold the WineRack. I wish I were kidding, but this is not a joke, you are not being punk’d. As I have shared before I think plagiarism is the lowest form of theft. I will quote from Firebox.com, because I assure you I could have never penned these words about the WineRack:

“Just think, secretly guzzling from your gazongas means no more waiting in line and paying for overpriced drinks at festivals, gigs and games. The savings from just one event will pay for your WineRack™ and still leave you with enough change to buy some pretzels - not that you’ll be buying anything for yourself with a chest this impressive.”

Although the WineRack is not the ideal Father’s Day gift I hear Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties everywhere screaming for more.

If you need a Gag gift or you are planning to join a Frat or Sorority House this is one item you can’t live without.

In the immortal stolen words of Keith Oberman, “Good night and Good Luck!”

The+Slanket[1]

Skymall is the most awesome shop to hit the web. Years ago, Skymall was available only while flying or a frequent flyer could bring the catalog off the plane and call the 800 number. Now Skymall is available any time anywhere, with the coolest gifts for any occasion.

Have you ever been on a transatlantic flight? If you have flown over the ocean you know how crowded those flights can be. If you have ever asked for a blanket and been told by the flight attendant there were no blankets left, you know how long those flights can seem. Worse yet have you asked for a blanket and then received a small itchy dry cleaned rectangular shaped piece of cloth that is only able to cover your shoulders or your legs but not both and there is just no hope for your feet?

Well happy days are here again! Thanks to the Slanket offered on Skymall no one will freeze again. The Slanket is the best blanket - without trouble - for snuggling up with a book or laptop computer. Simply slide your arms in the 13″ -wide sleeves and then turn pages, type, knit or do anything else with your hands without uncovering your body.

The Slanket is made of soft foldable material that will fit easily in any carry on bag. If your man travels and needs to get some rest this is the perfect way to make him feel at home even when he isn’t. There is a variety of colors and a plethora of comfort to be had.

Do You Feel Lucky?

lucky jeans

I normally do not lift items from other websites. I am on the net all the time and continually read mission statements, vision statements, letters to readers and the like.

Lucky Brand Jeans wrote a piece on their “about us” page that reminded me of another time. Okay I wil spare you the I was so innocent part, but I will say things were simple, people were more easy going and less on the go.

I have chosen to use their words instead of my own. I can’t tell you how Lucky Brand Jeans will feel to you, but I can tell you how they feel about you!

Lucky Brand Jeans is about a moment in time, about America, youth and courage. The brand stands for a time when quality and pride came first. Lucky Brand Jeans has always marched to the tune of its own drummer, never lining up to do it like everybody else…

Lucky Brand Jeans is about the summer before you went off to college, the friends you grew up with, freedom from the past and no fear for what lies ahead. It’s laughing at something you’re really too old to still find funny. It’s the last moment of innocence as you travel into adulthood.”

It is almost Memorial Day! It is time for hot guys to have the coolest new looks! Lucky Brand Jeans has just what the doctor ordered.

If you like loose fit, straight leg, or boot cut, Lucky has something for everyone. LBJ is not only offering jeans either. They have rockin accessories from ipod speakers to sunglasses and everything in between.

One of the hottest summer time items is the new plaid shorts! These Sunset Shorts show a little leg and a rock hard bottom. They will probably make you say I feel Lucky! If you prefer a less attention getting look the Turf Shorts are equally as handsome and come in a color called Chino, otherwise known as beige.

Everyone knows man’s best friend is a pooch! Lucky has pulled out all the stops to make sure your four-legged family member is not left out.

If you aren’t feeling lucky…maybe you should!

IcoasterSo it seems that I’m not the only one going crazy for marble runs as evidenced by the versions I’m starting to see on other blogs lately.  Both UberReview and OhGizmo! featured this Magetix I-Coaster

SpacewarpThen I saw over at Thoughts From The Sidelines this guy.

This one will be harder to get though, the product page is all in Japanese (Chinese?).

TowermarblerunRemember these other options as well.  Remember awhile back I told you about the Perpetual Tower Marble Run:

Chaostower

And I also told you about The Chaos Tower:

So remember, fun for him comes in all different sizes!
