Popcorn is a great dad snack.  I’m not sure why really.  I guess because it’s great with anything he happens to be drinking at the time.  Plus is great to share with the kids over a movie or the ball game.  Usually even the dog gets in on this act.

I’m compelled by this microwave corn popper.  The ad states that it will pop regular popcorn (the plain kernels in the glass jar at the grocery store) in the microwave without oil or any of the other bad stuff.  Then you can control how much, or how little, butter and salt the corn gets.  Seems like a great little gadget as the regular popcorn is cheaper than the microwave packets you buy (plus I always end up burning them anyway).

So he won’t give up his ball cap even in the coldest of months, eh?  No worries get him the ball cap ear band.  This little gadget will turn his favorite cap into a winter hat without making him look too dorky.  Well, I guess that last point is still out for debate.

I don’t think Tommy Bahama is a real guy. But if he is, I love his style. I love his clothes, his rum, and his watch. Especially this one. The Men’s Islander Strap watch captures the essence of the islands. The brown leather strap perfectly complements the textured ivory face. Perfect for the casual afternoon, but could be dressy as well.

I’ve never been to the UK. But I know people who have and I’ve heard that the pubs on that side of the pond are legendary. I’d love to go there someday and see for myself (you listening, Al?)

For those who have been and want to reminisce, or those who just dream for their time, I found this crate of British pup mats. They are not called "coasters" in the UK; I just learned. This is a set of 100 authentic reusable British pub mats packaged in a handsome wooden crate. Take care and the wood-pulp paper mats should last. But there is a refill kit if needed.

I guess I never really realized that Burt’s Bees was only for women. I mean I’ve heard of their stuff and knew it was really good; I just never paid that much attention to it.

Well apparently they didn’t have a men’s line, until now. The new line includes shaving cream, after shave, cologne, bar soap, and body wash. I love that coolhunting.com described the scent as "fresh…and natural without screaming hippie." Just what every man wants.
