Another dad snack are nuts.  I love sitting down with a bowl of pistachios.  They are one of the greatest pleasures in life.  So I always have two bowls, one for the nuts, and another for the shells.  I end up balancing the shell bowl on the arm of the chair while I work away on the nuts.  The empty nut bowl is also perfect for holding the shells you picked up off the floor after knocking the other bowl off the chair. 

The Original Pistachio Basket is perfect for this scenario.  The two baskets are held together with a wood base.  Made for eating any kind of nuts, but could also be good if you want to have two things on the table.  This is a really neat little idea.
