He very well may have had one of these way back when. I didn’t, but I played them at friends houses. They were tough to control; the men would run in circles.
This is a really retro gift that I’m sure he will get a kick out of if he is a football fan. This version of NFL Vibrating Football has improved controls that allow him to adjust the speed and movement of all players. Plus the quarterback is still the classic runner, kicker, passer that he always was. The Men’s Gift Guide approved for rules 2 and 3.

The older games and this new game CAN be made more enjoyable, and playable, with knowing how to “tweak” the bases.
Tweaking is using a flat/smooth jawed, pair of model plyers to alter the base prongs to make the bases stronger, faster and more consistent. Once a team is tweaked it like having a moving chess game, when playing against another team.
