Footjoy Reelfit Golf Shoes

Posted by Justin   8/17/07 at 8:39 am Gift Ideas          Comments (1)   | Trackback

Granted, I’ve never really had much trouble with traditional laces on my shoes. That being said, sometimes it’s fun to try out the next new thing. The Footjoy Reelfit Shoes replaces your strings with stainless steel cables. No really, the cables are attached to a knob on the heel that you turn(?) to tighten. They claim that this prevents your shoes from loosening during the round keeping your feet snug and supported. Click here for more information

Hotel Convenience at Home

Posted by Justin   8/16/07 at 8:35 am Gift Ideas          Comments (0)   | Trackback

Ever try to get some work done while staying at a hotel and they’ve got all of the ports you need right on top of the desk? I love that. It’s so convenient and it saves me the trouble of climbing under the desk and trying to figure out what outlets are which. Sometimes they are even built into the lamp, which is even better. Multi-tasking at its finest.

Well now that experience can be brought home. The Power-port Desk Lamp has two convenient AC outlets and a USB port right on the base. Perfect for plugging in the laptop and any number of other accessories or chargers. This would be great for a home office where he often has to take his computer with him during the day, but plug it in at night. Handsomely decorated with brushed nickel and cherry wood. The Wide-Mouth Bag

Posted by Justin   8/13/07 at 8:24 am Gift Ideas          Comments (0)   | Trackback

When I need to travel, I’m often scrambling to find a nice looking, professional bag to carry on. Sometimes I simply don’t need my briefcase or laptop bag. But I still want something that doesn’t look like it belongs at the gym.

That’s why I like The Wide-Mouth Leather Weekend Bag. Available in tan or black, it’s rugged full-grain cowhide gives it a manly, yet professional look that will work with a suit or jeans and a polo. Being a big guy, it’s comforting to know that the wide-mouth will stay open and easily store my large clothes. Perfect as a carry-on or for a short weekend getaway, it has extra pockets to hold any of the extra stuff he needs. Click here for more information

A Personalized Puzzle

Posted by Justin   8/10/07 at 8:12 am Gift Ideas          Comments (1)   | Trackback

I guess depending on where you live, this has the potential to be a super hard (or easy?) puzzle. When ordering, you supply a complete address. The manufacturer then produces a custom, 400-piece jigsaw puzzle just for you. The map displays six miles east-west, and four miles north-south of the address you provided. Your address is right smack in the middle on a little house shaped puzzle piece. Don’t have an exciting address in mind? I can imagine this would be cool with the address of his favorite team’s stadium, the white house, or the home he grew up in. Click here for more information

Upgrade His Earbuds

Posted by Justin   8/9/07 at 8:06 am Gift Ideas          Comments (1)   | Trackback

Have you noticed how earbuds have gone out of style lately? I mean, now adays it’s all about the big, over-the-ear noise reducing headphones. Funny how the MP3 players are getting smaller and smaller, while the earphones are getting bigger and bigger.

So I chose these earbuds strictly on looks. They claim to have the noise-isolating technology, custom comfort and secure fit. Whatever. They look cool. The sculpted metal micro-sized earbuds are super-light and available in gunmetal or red. Way better than plain white, huh? Click here for more information
