I’ve been wanting to play horse-shoes in my backyard. Problem is, to really do it right, you’ve got to build a pit. This involves railroad ties, sand, and some way to make the pole really sturdy. Quite an undertaking; plus you may not want that set-up permanently in your yard.

Well I may have found a really great alternative. This Bulls-Eye Washers set is a game very similar to horse-shoes. Two to four players toss the washers at the target. The center cup is worth three points; anywhere else in the box is worth one. First to 21 wins! This prevents permanent damage to your yard because you take in the boxes when you are done. Also perfect for playing with the kids as you just keep the targets closer together; but move them farther apart when the guys come over. All packs together in a nice convenient carrying case.
