There is an incredible song on Jimmy Buffett’s newest album, Take The Weather With You
. The song is entitled Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On
. It’s a song about life. It reminds me that there isn’t much I can do about the past, so just accept what I’ve got and keep moving forward. Here are a few verses I wanted to share.
First Verse:
I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn’t use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong
And If I have trouble the warranty said
Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move OnFinal Verse:
According to my watch the time is now
Past is dead and gone
Don’t try to shake it just nod your head
Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On
Now I’m sure there is absolutely no connection between this song and this watch. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. But this watch is worth showing for a couple of reasons. First, it’s trendy. Second, a true die-hard Jimmy Buffett fan would appreciate it. And third, some of us just need a reminder to focus on today, and appreciate what we’ve got. What a great message. Also seen at Oh Gizmo!.

[...] Ok, not an actual Jimmy Buffett product. Nor has he used this phrase in any of his songs (to my knowledge). But this shirt certainly captures the island frame of mind. [...]
