Some men always have to be doing something. Whether it’s as simple as fidgeting with something, or doing something complex, like, I don’t know, computing pi. I for one have a great deal of difficulty in sitting still. I just get bored and need something to do. I believe there are a great deal of men out there that should have been diagnosed with ADD in their youth, but weren’t due to the times.

Oral fixations help with the need to be doing something. I imagine that’s why smoking can be so hard to kick for some people. But things like chewing gum or a toothpick are all along the same lines.
