So, turns out that April Fools jokes from years ago still work. My post earlier about the Real Super Mario Brothers 1up Mushroom is proof. Turns out that the product in question is actually a classic April Fools joke from 2006. When you try to order the item at Thinkgeek.com, you get a nice “GOTCHA” page. Beautiful.
