Visiball Golf Ball FinderI really like golf, but don’t get the opportunity to play all too often. What with a two year old and another on the way. So needless to say that when I do go out, I’m not in top shape. (Insert Tiger Woods Joke Here).

The Visiball Golf Ball Finder is very curious to me. I like the idea of this product for two reasons: I miss the fairway a lot, and I hit the fairway sometimes. Obviously when I miss the fairway, there’s plenty of tall grass, woods, brush and the like to make finding the ball impossible. Seems this product would help out a great deal. The basic idea is that the dark blue lenses force out almost all dark colors, allowing the white ball to glow almost like it’s under a black light.

Even more important to me are the balls I hit in the fairway. How maddening is it when you spend tons of time looking for a ball that seemed like it would be easy to find when you hit it. You know that it’s right in plain view, but just can’t locate it. You know that the next guy is going to come across your ball, lying right in the middle of the fairway and wonder what kind of an idiot couldn’t find that ball. Well, I don’t want to be that idiot anymore. I would assume the Visiball would virtually eliminate that situation.

The Sharper Image sells the wraparound version shown, and a second version to fit over your glasses. Either one sells for $39.95. Sure wish someone from The Sharper Image would send me one to try. I’d really like to do an in depth product review so we can all know how it really works.
