Do Not Buy Cufflinks

cuffdaddyI get and read through like every men’s magazine out there. It’s good for me to keep up with the trends, see what products are being talked about, etc. Often these magazines will focus on professional style. “What To Wear To A Job Interview”. “How To Dress Up A Cheap Suit”. Often these style articles make one blanket statement, “no cufflinks”. This thoroughly confuses me.

I love to wear cufflinks. It’s one of the things, in a conservative professional world, that can make an outfit your own. They give you some style, if you will. I personally have several pairs of novelty cufflinks, including paper clips, beer cap and bottle opener, and hour glasses. While I do have a few gold ones, silver cufflinks tend to be my favorite.

I say buck the system. Cufflinks are cool and should still be worn, no matter what the “cool magazines” say. For this season’s holiday stocking stuffers, check out these mens cufflinks from cuff-daddy.com. I am absolutely digging the cool silver box that they come in. While you’re at it, check our their selection of mens ties and make sure he’s dressed right for the new year.

A Tool To Hold Your Beer Money and Open The Bottle

Posted by Justin   10/30/08 at 1:56 pm Gift Ideas          Comments (0)   | Trackback | |

BeerClipADwebYou know there is nothing worse than being stuck with good beer and no way to open it. Remember my tragic story about having to use a car jack as a bottle opener? Well this little gadget would have helped me out too.

The Beer Clip combines two of the most important functions of being a man; having beer money and opening a bottle.

The company sent me one to check out, and I’ve got to say that it is a well made little piece. Solid metal construction with a special notch on the fold to open your bottles. You can choose from a host of standard images to put on your clip, including initials of your recipient. The one I was sent had a custom logo of some company I haven’t heard of, but the logo was nicely done. My only concern about the item is that the clip is incredibly tight (i.e. it’s hard to slide the bills in and out). My guess is that would loosen up with use.

Overall, The Beer Clip is a great item and should certainly be on your short list of stocking stuffers this season.

A Manly Breakfast

muffinman

Every morning I have the exact same conversation with my daughter. I ask “what would you like for breakfast” somewhere between eight and twelve times. She eventually responds with “what are my choices” (she’s four). Of course, the choices are exactly the same every single morning. “Cereal, yogurt, frozen waffle”. Eventually she makes up her mind and I serve her breakfast.

As she eats, I look around for something for myself. All I can find for me to eat is cereal, yogurt, or a frozen waffle. Of course, I don’t want any of these things, especially considering the cereal is “High School Musical Cereal”. I’m too lazy to get out a pan, so I end up having coffee.

Save your man from the same turmoil that plagues my mornings. The Muffin Man will cook him up everything he needs for a breakfast sandwich in less time than it takes to say “now brush your teeth and get ready for school” sixteen times.

gc653Both coin and golf buffs will like this one. The state quarter of his choice is backed with a magnetic disc and attached to this handsome holder. Make it his with one line of text.

When attached to his belt or brim of his hat, a ball marker is always in reach. Never again will he have to dig in his pockets for a coin, or use the cheap marker on his glove.

Father’s Day

Lately we have been hearing a lot about the economy and gas prices and that can put a damper on shopping for Father’s Day! Okay so we can’t offer you a vacation from gas taxes, or a tax refund but we have looked on the net and found a stimulus package of sorts. Here is a list of stores and the discounts they are offering at least through Father’s Day! Happy Shopping!

Red Envelope- Red Envelope is an eclectic mix of products. I love this store and they are offering many gifts under $50.00 and if you spend $150.00 and use the code CELEBRATED at checkout they will give you a $50.00 discount.

The Playboy Store - is always a plethora of excitement. They are offering up to 50% discounts on multiple items, $5.00 flat rate shipping, and a DVD entitled The Bunny Years with orders of $75.00 or more.

Things Remembered- A treasure trove of gifts for under $50.00. My personal favorite is the Water Globe. It holds a picture of Dad’s favorite memory and has room for engraving. All of the gifts on the site are unique and have room to be engraved adding to the charm.

Amazon- What doesn’t Amazon have? In addition to the regular stuff that you can hunt for, they have listed gifts for Dad in categories from under $25.00 to over $100. There is fast shipping and plenty of discounts available.

Father’s Day is the 15th and so there aren’t that many shopping days left. Enjoy!

Indiana Jones Fans will not be disappointed. I remember seeing all of Dr. Jones adventures with my Dad and as I took my own son last weekend to see the latest but not the last installment of Indy, I realized we have all aged a bit and some things are never the same as the first time although they may still hold sentimental appeal.

My son often tells me not to be such a chick, so on to the manly thoughts that hold a little less talk, and a lot more action. The Noble Collection offers the accouterments of the would be Dr. Jones that prefers to act out his fantasies at home.

Whether you need a new leather bull whip or a stainless steel machete The Noble Collection will be just what the doctor ordered.

If Dr. Jones doesn’t do it for the man in your life, The Noble Collection offers Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Superman and other movie peripherals to strike any man’s fancy.

121TIME - Create your own time
There are so many clichés about time they can not all be listed. Perhaps the most notable concept revolving around time is that it is the only commodity that cannot be replenished. 121TIME.com offers the most sophisticated of timepieces with a manly look and feel and moderate pricing. The exceptionally interesting offering on 121 is the ability to create a timepiece from scratch.

It is absolutely true, you can choose the face, bezel, movement, strap color and second hand. There is hardly a better way to make time your own than literally creating it yourself.

Many virtues make 121 unique:

121TIME.com
is the first Swiss Made quality watch making company exclusively accessible on Internet.

121TIME.com
is the first watch company to offer such a high level of customer participation in the purchase process that creates a unique experience with high emotional content. With its platform, 121TIME can deliver more experience to each customer.

You can personalize the back of your watch by adding to it a text and/or a logo, which you will have chosen. This option is automatically available to you at the end of the process of creation of your watch.

As we near Father’s Day make sure, Dad remembers the time.
